Look What We've Been Doing!
The Fairbanks Garden Club always looks forward to its November meeting each year. After the luncheon dishes are cleared and the business meeting is concluded, several talented members inspire and instruct us in the art of "Decorating with Greens." Ahead of time, we scour our yards and gardens for greens, berries and dried flowers to share with everyone. We provide our own small container and choose either a fall or winter theme. This year we also were taught how to make a large holiday bow! Members encourage each other and offer design suggestions and we all go home not only with a festive arrangement, but also with a wonderful sense of fellowship. (November 2021)

Our Pumpkin Patch is Back!
Nine members of the Fairbanks Garden Club spent two Wednesday afternoons decorating real and artificial pumpkins for the club's Pumpkin Patch. Jeanette Evans, Annette Eddy, Carol Cook, Loretta Larraga, Joan Hartzel, Rose Favret, Nancy D'Attilio, Holly Dixon, and Janet Holmes donated their time to create these whimsical pumpkins. The women decorated over 30 pumpkins in a variety of designs. The pumpkins were set up at the club's October meeting where members visited the pumpkin patch and purchased the ones that caught their attention.
